Full Document Path On Toolbar
Users converting to Word from WordPerfect 5.1
miss having the full document path and name listed on the screen. You can write
some VBA code to display the document path and filename in the Title Bar, or you
can easily add a command to a toolbar which lists the full document path and
name.
1. Open a blank document.
2. Right-click on any toolbar and select Customize from the shortcut
menu.
3. Select the Commands tab.
4. Select Web in the Categories box, and then select Address from the
list of Commands.
5. Drag the Address command to one of the existing toolbars.
6. Click the Close button to close the Customize dialog box.
The Web Address command is designed to list Web page addresses. But, in a document, the command will display the full path and name of the document.
